Description

The Red-Tailed Short Body Tinfoil Barb is a specialized, selectively-bred variant of the Southeast Asian Tinfoil Barb, prized in the aquarium trade for its compact, rounded shape and vibrant red fins. While standard Red-Tailed Tinfoil Barbs (primarily Barbonymus altus) are streamlined, the “short body” version possesses a compressed, almost disc-like torso.
