Royal Knifefish

(scientifically known as Chitala blanci), also frequently called the Indochina Featherback or Royal Clown Knifefish, is a striking and elegant species of freshwater fish native to the Mekong River basin in Southeast Asia. It is highly prized in the aquarium hobby for its distinctive metallic silver sheen and intricate pattern of black spots and reticulations that become more complex as the fish matures.
