Description

The Blue Jelly shrimp was originally bred out of dwarf shrimp with red head and abdomen and blue body color, the so-called Blue Rili shrimp. Blue Rilis are in turn descended from Red Rilis. In the Blue Jelly, the red color components have been consistently reduced and are now completely gone in many animals. Some still have a red rostrum or a few red spots. The blue of the Blue Jelly is not as intensely dark as that of the Blue Velvet, but rather ice blue, turquoise blue or light blue. Females grow up to 3 cm in size, males usually remain somewhat smaller.

蓝果冻虾最初是由头部和腹部为红色、体色为蓝色的矮虾培育而成，即所谓的蓝日利虾。蓝色 Rilis 又是红色 Rilis 的后代。在蓝色果冻中，红色成分一直在减少，现在在许多动物中完全消失了。有的还留有红色的讲台或几个红色的斑点。蓝果冻的蓝色不像蓝丝绒那么深，而是冰蓝色、翠蓝色或浅蓝色。雌性体长可达 3 厘米，雄性通常较小。
