Description

Albino Rainbow Sharks are an albino color variant of the popular Rainbow Shark tropical community aquarium fish. They originate from the river basins of the Mekong, Xe Bangfai, Chao Phraya and Maeklong rivers of Southeast Asia, Thailand and Indonesia. They are typically found inhabiting calmer areas of the river where water flow is moderate and the river bottom is sandy with plenty of lush vegetation.

Typically they are aggressive chasers, but will rarely bite or harm other fish. Individual personalities vary greatly—some are calm, while others are rather aggressive towards tank mates. They are bottom dwellers and like lots of dark hiding places. They get along with gourami, barbs, D danio, catfish but they do well with other sharks when they’re young. Red-tailed black sharks can reach a length of 16 cm (6 in)

它们天性好动，常会追逐其他鱼类，但很少真正咬伤或伤害同缸的其他鱼。个体性格差异很大——有的性情温和，有的则对同缸伙伴表现得相当好斗。它们属于底层鱼类，喜欢阴暗且隐蔽的藏身之处。它们可以与丝足鲈（Gourami）、鲤科鱼类（如鲃鱼、斑马鱼等）以及鲶鱼混养；在幼年时期，它们也能与其他“鲨类”（同属鱼类）和平共处。红尾黑鲨（Red-tailed black shark）成体可长至16厘米（6英寸）。
