Description

The Rainbow Shark (Epalzeorhynchos frenatum) is a popular freshwater fish native to the river basins of Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia. Despite its name and sleek, shark-like swimming motion, it is not a true shark but a member of the Cyprinidae (minnow and carp) family.
